MEP Named Top Language Company for Second Year
CHANTILLY, VA – Independent market research firm Common Sense Advisory released its annual ranking of the top 100 translation and interpreting providers last week and Mission Essential Personnel, LLC (MEP), with 2011 revenues of $725.5 million, was the top-earning firm for the second consecutive year.
MEP is a global professional services company with primary offices in Columbus, OH and Chantilly, VA. Currently, MEP has more than 8,000 translators, interpreters and cultural advisors in 13 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. In addition to language, MEP provides intelligence support and training and technical services to the US Department of Defense, intelligence agencies, and international development organizations.
“I’ve been in the language business for 13 years and it’s a tremendous credit to MEP’s linguists and support staff that we’ve been able to grow so rapidly in this market,” said MEP President Marc Peltier. “We’ve done well because we put ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances and they achieve remarkable results.”
